Last weekend Joell and I went to the Pigeon Key Art Festival....
The band stand....
Vendors selling their wares...
Interesting fellow... plays along with whatever band is currently playing...
He has special boots with tin cans on them to add some percussion...
The Turtle Hospital was there with one of their rescued turtles....this guy bites...
A great sand sculpture...
Nice ehh...
We picked up this tray....
All hand done by a couple here...
Shell, Shrimp, starfish and crab...
Shell and a fish....
the bottom...
Back at the Marathon Marine for a chili cook off and the Super Bowl party...
Here's Patrick and Joell..... Patrick is from Green Bay...
John and Suzanne from Zeelander a catamaran...
Another sunset....
The new Trim Tabs are in....
Opps, the holes are in the wrong place for the hydraulic rams....
Drill Time...
36' long by 12' wide...
The two holes should of been on the right where the second ram pivot is sitting...
Some of the problems with the old Trim Tabs....
Rusted holes right through the darn things...
A couple more holes where it pivots from off of the transom...
same holes as above...
A couples of rivets were missing also...
Another rivet missing....
More holes...
Three of the four hydraulic ram pivots that were also all replaced....
All new ones are installed and good to go...Mike did all the work himself, with Joell handing him tools. Not one new item was lost into the sea 😁
Great job. Still in the Keys I take it. Fog and rain here today. Redid my ham station. Picture in a couple of weeks.
